Everyone has a Guardian Angel and none of us has to walk through the trials and sufferings of this life alone, because we each have a special friend that is ours alone. No one before us had our specific Guardian Angel, and no one after us will have the same one ever again. Many Saints have even seen their Guardian Angels and spoken with them.
There are many prayers we can say to our Guardian Angel. The most traditional one is the Guardian Angel prayer;
“Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God’s love commits here, ever this day/night be at my side to light, to guard, to rule, and guide."
We should pray often to our Guardian Angel for guidance and protection. They want to help us, but we have to be open to allowing them to work in our lives.

Our study of the Gospel of John will recommence on Wednesday, October 14. All are welcome to join!
We meet most 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month in the Msgr. Paa Room at Nativity, from 7 to 9 PM. See the parish calendar for the dates we will meet.
This in-depth study, authored by Dr. Scott Hahn and Mark Shear (see www.cssprogram.net), provides the basis for our class. Insightful questions and supplemental readings from the Catechism, Church teachings, Saints, and books such as "St. John's Gospel" by Stephen Ray aid in our reflection and application to life.
No prior Bible knowledge required...just a thirst to learn more about Jesus.
For questions or further details, place contact Dave or Loretta Schabel at (716) 440-3020. You are welcome to just show up at our next gathering!
