Grades 1-3 are using our popular online family-style learning through Google Classroom utilizing the St. Mary's Press program, Discover! Mrs. Clark, along with our parish clergy and many other special guests provide video lessons, crafts, songs and stories as well as resources for parents on each topic. Families in these grades are also invited to special in-person liturgical events!

GRADES 1-10

Grades 1-3

First Sacraments
Our First Penance (Grade 2) and First Eucharist (Grade 3) children use the inspiring Signs of Grace program from Augustine Institute. Both Sacrament programs include a parental involvement component, including three in person sessions for parents and children, paired with additional lessons at home. The children will also attend an in-person retreat.

Grades 4-5
Grades 4-5 continue their studies using St. Mary's press Discover! online program at their grade level, together with Nativity videos and meaningful extras from Mrs. Clark and other faithful assistants. All of these resources are delivered seamlessly via Google Classroom and St. Mary's Press online. In-person liturgical events will bring this group and their families together for worship and fellowship

Grades 6-8
Grades 6-8 use the engaging Connect! program from St. Mary's Press. This program allows middle school youth to gather together in the school gym for in-person lessons with fun activities and engaging small-group discussion relevant to their age. Boys and girls at this stage are highly encouraged to enroll in our youth-ministry style lessons which meet at Nativity of Mary School and are led by our middle school catechist, Mrs. Garver. All grades 6-8 youth will be invited to participate in parish Youth Masses.

Grades 9-10
Grades 9 and 10 meet in grade level groups for in-person lessons. Grade 9 group dives into the first half of the recently updated Ascension Press program Chosen. Grade 10 picks up where they left off and tackles the second half. The Chosen videos and discussion questions are relevant to living and learning our faith in today's world, and help teens get ready for their confirmation year. Youth in grades 9 and 10 will be invited to guest speaker and Youth Mass events. Additionally, Grade 10 youth will have several parish volunteer opportunities.
*In-person lessons are strongly encouraged for grades 6-10. Online lessons are also available.
