A Call for Healing for victims of Abuse and the Church on Friday, Sept. 7:
- Fr. Daniel's Healing Mass at 7:00 p.m. with Fr. DiGiulio
- Day of Reparations and Repentance at St. Leo's Church
The Church is the Bride of Christ, the hands and feet of Jesus (St. Teresa), the Body of Christ (1 Cor 12:27), all of us, Bishops, Priests, Religious and lay people. For too long, the victims of abuse have gone unheard, crying out, "How long, O Lord, will you utterly forget me?" (Psalm 13:2)
As a parish, as a diocese, as a people of God, we must come together to work for change, to seek healing and ensure a future of love and safety for our children, and to lift up and support the good men in our clergy.
Here you will find our plans to come together as Catholics to begin this journey:
On Sunday, September 2, Fr. Ron has called for Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament for Reparation, Repentance, and Healing from 12 Noon until 4:45 p.m. at Nativity of Mary Church
We welcome your letters and emails to help voice your be heard. Please send emails to Father Ron, Pastor or Amy Vukelic, Pastoral Associate at Amy@nativityharrishill.org. Our Parish address is 4375 Harris Hill Road, Williamsville, NY 14221
We will be planning times for listening sessions in the Church in the very near future. Please check back again this week for more information.
