Back Prayer for Spiritual Communion
Monday, March 16, 2020
With a contrite and a pure and loving heart say:
My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Blessed Sacrament.
I love You above all things and I desire to possess You within my soul.
Since I cannot receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. (Pause)
As though You were already there, I embrace You and unite myself wholly to You; permit me not that I should ever be separated from You. Amen.
For a spiritual communion, the Council of Trent requires an ardent desire, lively faith, and fervent charity.
The Church will be open at the following times for private prayer with the occupancy of the building not to exceed 10 people.
Holy Thursday: Adoration 5 to 7 p.m.
Good Friday: Veneration of the Cross 5 to 7 p.m.
Easter Sunday: Noon to 5 p.m.
