Grades 9, 10 and 11

Curriculum Overview
The 9th grade curriculum is divided into 2 topics. Students study each topic for half the year. The topics are:

Peace and Justice ~ Students learn about our Catholic identity and how we are responsible for equality in the world.

The topics offered as part of the 10th and 11th grade curriculum include:

  • Morality
  • Jesus in the New Testamen
  • Sacraments
  • Commandments
  • Apostles Creed

Special Events
Nativity strives to provide ample opportunities for spiritual growth for our youth outside of the traditional classroom setting. Past events for high school students have included collecting Christmas presents for low-income families, tailgate parties, ice skating parties, Christmas caroling at nursing homes, teen Masses, working at the parish picnic, working on Habitat for Humanity houses, back to school get-togethers, basketball and softball teams, and Living Stations of the Cross presentations.

Sacraments
Confirmation is celebrated in spring of the Junior year of high school. The date for 2008 will be announced in January.
