Grades 1 to 6

Curriculum Overview
Every Religious Education class at Nativity begins and ends with prayer. Our elementary program uses the Walking by Faith materials published by Brown-Roa, a division of Harcourt Brace & Company. We also have many books, videos and art supplies which we use to supplement the designated curriculum for holidays, Advent, Lent and other faith projects. The main teaching emphasis in each grade is as follows:

  • Grade 1 ~ God
  • Grade 2 ~ Jesus Christ
  • Grade 3 ~ The Church
  • Grade 4 ~ Christian Morality
  • Grade 5 ~ The Sacraments
  • Grade 6 ~ Salvation History

Report Cards
Progress reports are sent home once a year.
